This game consists of 42 playfully illustrated cards. Each card features a short, positive statement with a corresponding drawing. The drawings depict situations from children's everyday lives. A clown and a dreamer unexpectedly appear during the game, providing surprises!
Through the 8 cooperative game formats – where players play with each other instead of against each other – children learn to work together, collaborate, and think creatively. The games give children a sense of self-worth and the experience of belonging. Positive interaction with each other flows from this.
In some games, players get to know each other and themselves better. Additionally, the cards can be used as power cards: children occasionally draw a card that says something about themselves at that moment. This can serve as a boost or as a playful start to a (group) conversation.
The Power of 8 card game can be used at home, in school, and in individual guidance for children. All games can be played with a group of children; some can be played with two or even alone.
