This version is dimensionally (70 x 50 cm) suitable for use in both the middle and upper school levels, and the Study Buddy XL is also highly suitable for use in high school, vocational school or college due to its higher side walls.

The Study Buddy XL has the same dimensions as the Study Buddy Large, but the XL version has higher side walls. This makes the XL version even more suitable for shielding physically larger students from visual stimuli.

In a daily classroom situation, the Study Buddy is used as follows:

The student independently picks up the Study Buddy and places it on his or her desk, with or without consultation with the teacher.

When the student wants to concentrate better, for example when taking a test, he or she opens the Study Buddy.

When the student wants to rejoin the group process, he or she closes the Study Buddy again.

The Study Buddy can remain on the table and the top can still be used as a replacement table top. The fact that the Study Buddy can remain on the table creates peace in the classroom.
